Proudly in love with my sketches considered the most important part for an artist. The following is a selection of sketches and studies for clients, commissions, galleries, companies and more.

An otherwise large body of work showcasing the drawings, tools, research, ideas, experiments and identities developed by Lorenzo Caia. Each of these works was done entirely by hand, keeping faith with the function and aesthetics of the early 15th century draftsmen. I offer more than just detailed drawings and functional design; I specialize in creating timeless and irreproducible, unique identities for yourself, your company, your voice or your intention through puzzles, hidden messages, riddles and more.

What I love and which differentiates my works from those of others is the "DETAIL".

An art process that originates from a hidden message.

Materials play a very important role in the creation of each work. Their yield and final result are determined by the quality and reliability of the raw materials an artist uses.

The choice of these materials are the summary of tests, studies & research conducted throughout life.

Lyra graphite is the starting point of all my work followed by a series of Staedtler fineliners from 0.05 to 1.2mm, Winsor & Newton black ink and Lefranc Bourgeois "Extra Fine" white ink on various types of paper.
