Print Run Policy & Rarity of Works

"The Lorenzo Caia Archive does not mass produce. Each work is the result of a slow, deliberate process, intrinsically limited in time and numbers."

1. The Principle of Closed Circulation

The value of a collection lies in its rarity. For our Fine Art editions in larger formats (A3 and above), we adopt a strict Closed Edition protocol.
This means that the exact number of copies that will ever be printed is declared in advance (e.g., 35 copies). Once the last copy is acquired by a collector, the digital master is withdrawn. The work will never be reproduced with those same specifications again.

2. Manufacturing Times and "Ready for Delivery"

We don't stock pre-printed posters. When a piece is listed as "Available" on the website, it means the print run is still open, but physical printing will only be done upon your request .
This ensures the museum-grade paper is dust-free and the pigments are fresh. We require 48 to 72 business hours for the Giclée print, inspection, pencil signature, embossing, and completion of the Certificate of Authenticity before the work leaves our studio.

3. "Sold Out" Works (Out of Print)

If you find a work marked "Sold Out" or "Archived," it means the entire print run has been acquired. We do not accept pre-orders for closed editions. However, on rare occasions, the Archive may release Artist's Proofs (APs) or out-of-print copies.
We strongly recommend subscribing to our Private Newsletter to be the first to know about new print runs or the release of rare works.

OUR COMMITMENT TO VALUE

Our availability policy isn't a marketing ploy, but a pledge of respect for those who invest in our art. Those who purchase the 1/35th copy know we're protecting their investment by refusing to print the 36th copy.
