The human back is a map of ridges and furrows, a duality between sculptural force and hidden fragility. In this physical manifestation, I sought a material capable of echoing the intense corporeality of the anatomical subject. Under the inspection light of the final proof, I observe the deep blacks of the crosshatching visually carving into the surface, almost merging with the tactile roughness of the fibers. The validation ritual concludes with the firm pressure of the dry seal, a mark that indents the paper to create an invisible topography, standing as a testament to artisanal rigor. My ink signature accompanies each numbered specimen, crystallizing its historical weight.

+ Notes on Scarcity & Collecting:
Every work I allow into my Private Gallery is a solemn commitment to time. Unlike the open series, these editions represent the physical limit of my work: a numerical threshold that, once reached, will never be crossed again.
Studio - Edition /30 (€90):
.Paper: 300g Fine-Art White. A support of absolute whiteness, chosen to reflect the millimetric precision of every single ink stroke.
.Dimension: A3 (29.7x42 cm).
.Authentication: Each copy is hand-signed and numbered. It includes a physical Certificate of Authenticity, documenting its origin within the Lorenzo Caia Archive.
Archive - Edition /20 (€145):
.Paper: The pinnacle of archival preservation. Printed on premium 100% Cotton paper. The natural, textured fiber transforms the ink into a visual relief, giving the work the aura of a rediscovered artifact.
.Distinctive Marks: Beyond the signature and numbering, this is the only edition to receive the Archive’s blind-stamp (embossing): a permanent physical mark certifying its absolute rarity.
.Exclusivity: Only 20 copies in existence worldwide.
+ The Archival Standard:
+ The Archival Standard:
Preservation is a science. To ensure that the work you acquire today remains unchanged for generations to come, I apply strict standards of chemical and chromatic stability:
.Pigments: I exclusively use 12-pigment Giclée inks, capable of reproducing the deep blacks typical of the original ink drawings.
.Permanence: All supports are certified Acid-free and Lignin-free (ISO 9706 Standard). This ensures the paper does not yellow and the work maintains its visual integrity for over 80 years.
+ Custody & Transit:
+ Custody & Transit:
I treat the transfer of an artwork with the same solemnity as its creation. Transit is not a mere shipment, but a transfer of custody.
.Protection: Limited editions are wrapped in pH-neutral tissue paper and secured in heavy-duty rigid tubes or reinforced flat packaging, designed to withstand impacts and humidity changes.
.Traceability: Shipping is always insured and tracked. You will receive the details to monitor the work's journey from my archive to your private collection.
