- Products and Formats
What formats do I offer?
I mainly offer A3 (main format, limited editions) and A4 (entry format, open editions). The dimensions are:
. A4 = 21 × 29.7 cm
. A3 = 29.7 × 42.0 cm
Are the prints frameless?
Yes—the works are sold unframed, ready to be framed. This allows you to choose the finish that best suits your space.
What paper and printing do you use?
I print on fine art paper (min. 250 gsm) with long-lasting pigmented inks. Specifications (paper, color profile) are listed in the technical data sheet for each work.
Are the prints signed and numbered?
The limited edition A3s are hand-signed and numbered and include a certificate of authenticity.
A4s are signed (front or back) but generally not numbered.
- Limited Editions and Availability
What does “limited edition” mean?
For each A3 work, we indicate the print run (e.g., Archive 30 / Archive Collection 20). Once the print run is sold out, we do not reprint the same edition. Reinterpretations or new works may arise, but they will be presented as separate releases.
How do I see how many specimens are left?
The remaining availability of the print run is shown on the Availability page and on each product sheet for limited A3s.
Can I reserve a specimen?
Yes—we offer pre-orders with a €20 deposit. The deposit is refundable up to 7 days before production starts/the end of the run. Estimated delivery times are listed on the product page or on the pre-order page (typically 2–4 weeks from the end of the drop).
- Prices and Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and express payment methods (Apple Pay / Google Pay where available).
Do prices include taxes/VAT?
Prices shown include VAT for orders within the European Union. For shipments outside the EU, customs or tax charges may be added and paid by the recipient.
- Shipping and Deliveries
Where do you ship to?
We ship domestically and internationally. Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout.
Shipping times?
Available products: Production and shipping typically takes 7–14 business days.
Limited editions / pre-orders: variable times, indicated on the drop page (usually 2–4 weeks from the end of the print run).
Do you ship insured?
Limited A3 prints ship with insurance included; for other formats, we offer insurance upon request or as an option at checkout.
- Returns, Damages and Guarantees
What happens if the print arrives damaged?
If the item arrives damaged, please send detailed photos of the packaging and the damage within 5 days of delivery to contact@lorenzocaia.com . We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on availability.
Can I return an artwork if I change my mind?
A4 (open print run): Returns are possible within 14 days of receipt only if the print is intact, in its original packaging, and unmarked. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
A3 (limited editions): To preserve the value of the print run, we do not accept returns due to changes in mind; returns due to defects or damage are handled as above.
- Certificate of Authenticity and Traceability
What does the certificate contain?
The certificate includes: title of the work, edition number (e.g. 7/15), format, line (Archive / Archive Fund), year, artist's signature.
How do I verify authenticity?
Each A3 is numbered and signed; we keep a record of the print runs and can verify authenticity upon request via email.
- Use of Images and Rights
Can I use the print for commercial purposes?
No. Purchasing a print is for personal use only. Any commercial use (printing on objects, merchandising, reproduction for campaigns, etc.) requires a separate license. Contact contact@lorenzocaia.com for licensing information.
Can I resell the print I bought?
Yes, you can resell the physical item you purchased (second-hand market), but you cannot reproduce or use the image for commercial purposes without a license. If you're selling a limited edition A3, please include the original number for traceability.
- Commissions, Wholesale and Collaborations
Do you do commissions or custom work?
Yes. For private commissions or custom projects, please email contact@lorenzocaia.com with a brief description of the project, timeline, and budget.
Do you offer wholesale terms for shops or galleries?
Yes: Wholesale / Collaborations page or contact directly via email for price list and conditions.
- Care of the Work and Assembly
How should I store/frame the print?
. Use UV-filtered glass to protect the ink.
. Prefer acid-free mounts and materials .
Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to intense sunlight.
For cleaning: do not use solvents; dust gently with a soft cloth.
- Editorial Themes and Catalog Coherence
Why do some works belong to the same line (Archive / Archive Collection)?
The two lines are two interpretations of the same image: Archive – Natural Paper (graphic version, high readability) and Archive Collection – Ivory Paper (textured and glossy finish). This offers stylistic choice while maintaining the work's identity.
Will a print seen on social media still be available as a limited edition?
Social media presence does not automatically affect availability or edition status. Actual availability is always indicated on the product page and on the Availability page.
