Frequently Asked Questions & Archive Notes
This space is dedicated to the technical and philosophical aspects of my work. If your question remains unanswered, please reach out via the Contact page.
Practice and Materials
What type of works can I acquire from the Archive?
The archive offers fine art prints, limited editions, and original works. Every piece is a high-fidelity giclée reproduction of my original ink drawings. I do not offer sketches or preparatory drawings for sale: every work in the archive is considered a complete and final observation.
What materials define the quality of the prints?
I use museum-quality, heavy-weight paper and archival pigment inks. This combination ensures color permanence and aging resistance over decades, preserving the anatomical and architectural precision of the ink strokes.
How are the sizes classified?
Works are available in three standard formats, designed to fit into private studies and curated collections:
- A5 (€30): For intimate study corners.
- A4 (€40): The classic archival format.
- A3 (€55): To fully observe the complexity of details.
Acquisitions and Collections
Are there options for multiple collections?
Yes. I have structured "Bundles" for those wishing to create coherent visual narratives:
- Duo (2xA4): €70
- Trio S (3xA5): €75
- Trio Classic (3xA4): €100
- Trio Grande (3xA3): €140
What is the difference between Limited Editions and Originals?
Limited Editions (Minimal or Archive, from €95 to €145) are numbered series that will never be reprinted once sold out. Originals (€300+) are the unique pieces hand-drawn in my studio, the very genesis of the series.
Logistics and Care
What is the order handling time?
I personally manage every shipment from my studio three times a week. This allows me to meticulously inspect every print before it leaves the archive. You will receive a notification as soon as the work is in transit.
How is authenticity guaranteed?
Every limited print and original are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) certifying its provenance from Lorenzo Caia’s archive and the use of professional-grade materials.
What happens if the work is damaged during transport?
Protecting the work is my priority. Should a print arrive damaged, please contact me immediately with photographic evidence to arrange a replacement.
Trade Relations and Collaborations
Do you offer programs for professionals or retailers?
