Ho costruito questo studio intorno a una sola pianta: il giacinto. Nelle tavole di botanica del Settecento, Hyacinthus compariva con le sue note di classificazione a margine – un fiore studiato tanto dai naturalisti quanto dai poeti, radicato nei miti di Apollo e nelle costellazioni di primavera.
In questa stampa d'arte botanica ho mantenuto quella doppia natura. Il rigore del disegno a inchiostro convive con le linee guida e le annotazioni manoscritte, deliberatamente visibili come tracce di un processo di indagine ancora aperto. Un'opera concepita per chi cerca l'estetica dei diari di esplorazione e dei vecchi erbari.

. To ensure the longevity of the lightfast pigments, I recommend framing under museum-grade glass with a UV filter.
