Within my archive, I observe "Machina Lucis" as the mechanical organ designed for the crystallization of the present. I have traced the bellows extensions of this camera to investigate the boundary between the real landscape and its ideal projection. The annotations surrounding the subject, from the chronological references of 1826 to the geometries of the golden ratio, are not mere data points but coordinates of an alchemical journey where light becomes substance. It is a reflection on our need to retain the image to save it from oblivion. This theoretical investigation into vision is preserved within my Archive and is available in three different formats.

Each archival fine art print is printed to order in my Florence studio and shipped within 3–5 business days.

. To ensure the longevity of the lightfast pigments, I recommend framing under museum-grade glass with a UV filter.
