Mobula Birostris - Fine Art Ink Print | Animals & Nature

I have long contemplated the silent geometry of the Mobula Birostris, seeking to translate its gravitational dance in the ocean depths into precise ink marks. In this study, the form sheds its biological weight to become an architectural structure: the large cephalic fins and the rhomboid silhouette turn into an exercise in pure symmetry and proportion. It is a work that questions the boundary between the animal world and mathematical abstraction, capturing the elegance of an ancient predator on paper. I intended for this vision to be accessible to every student of nature; the work is kept in my Archive and available for consultation in three different formats.
Each archival fine art print is printed to order in my Florence studio and shipped within 3–5 business days.
