Within my archive, I have always considered the game of chess as a rigorous architecture of tensions. With the Trilogia Scacchia, belonging to the Strategy & Games collection, I sought to extract this latent logic. This selection of three prints composes an absolute hierarchical and visual system. There is no randomness in this juxtaposition: Episcopus & Pedes, Turris & Eques, and Rex & Regina converse through the same geometric proportions that govern calculation on the chessboard. I constructed this curatorial sequence to investigate the anatomical structure of strategic dominance. In this composition, the subjects surrender their isolation to become inextricable nodes of a single, inexorable visual strategy, revealing the inherent power of the system.

Each fine art print is printed to order in my studio and prepared for dispatch within 2-4 business days.

Each Lorenzo Caia Archive Selection brings together two or three distinct physical fine art prints, reproduced from original ink drawings and presented as a curated set.

The artworks included in each selection are identified in the individual product description.

Paper & Printing

Inkjet printing on Modigliani Candido paper, 200 gsm.

Studio - White background.

Archive - Ivory-toned printed background.

Both versions use the same paper. The distinction is in the visual presentation of the artworks, not in a different paper stock.

The selected size applies to each print included in the set. Available formats and prices are displayed in the product options.

Authentication

The artist's signature is reproduced on each print. These are Open Edition reproductions, not individually hand-signed or numbered Limited Editions.

A Certificate of Authenticity is not included.

The prints are packed together using protective materials and rigid packaging appropriate to their size and the number of artworks included.

Care & Display

Each artwork within the selection is a separate physical print on paper.

Handle the prints with clean, dry hands and avoid touching the printed surfaces.

Keep the artworks away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity and contact with water.

Framing with suitable protective glazing is recommended.

Slight differences between the images displayed on your screen and the physical prints may occur due to display settings and lighting conditions.

Frames, furniture and interior settings shown in photographs are for illustration only and are not included with the selection.
