The shoulders don't tell us everything they carry.

In Dorsum, the human back is traced through muscles, dense cross-hatching, measured lines and handwritten notes. It is an anatomical study, but also an image of everything we choose to support without letting it show.

Sometimes, a simple promise like "I'll take care of it" can turn an act of love into a silent burden. How much can remain invisible before we begin to feel its weight?

The drawing offers no easy answer. Follow the lines, and notice where the precision of anatomy meets something no measurement can describe.

Look closer. Perhaps what this back carries is not entirely visible on paper.
